The Norwegian startup Accountflow has developed an innovative solution for reconciliation, and Aider has been a key sparring partner in this development. - We are always looking for technology that simplifies and makes it more efficient, and this is such a solution, says Bjørnar Fjeld, head of IT & tech at Aider.

In the past, it has required a lot of manual work to carry out reconciliation jobs. But with the solution for the Norwegian tech startup, a lot of the documentation and reporting work can be automated away. Integration with the government and automatic acquisition of data from public registers cuts time and removes headaches.

- We have searched, but previously not found any solutions that achieve this in the same way. That is why we have invested a lot of time in guiding the good people in AccountFlow, says Fjeld.

Technology that puts the users first

Fjeld thinks it's great to be able to help enterprising startups with good ideas.

– We have a sense for people who make good technology without it being just for technology's sake. It's also a useful production tool for us, because it allows our employees to spend more of their valuable time on the customers.

Daniel Jara, CEO in AccountFlow, calls this a new gold standard for the business world.

– The application helps Aider employees to concentrate more on value-creating activities. In addition, the system increases compliance and control for their end customers, which ensures they can make better decisions, he adds.

A great supporter

Both parts can agree on that Aider has been far more than a regular customer for AccountFlow. Since the application was only a bright idea, the competence center has been closely involved in the development process.

– Aider has been a sparring partner and a supporter throughout. They have challenged us on functionality, scalability and usefulness. It has been important contributions to make our product what it is today, says Jara.

He tells that they found the tone early on as two innovative companies, and that they shared the vision of turning established structures upside down.

– Together, we will break down barriers to what "Best Practice" actually is. By creating the reconciliation tool of the future, we will also help change the methodology of the entire industry in general.
